With over 20 years of experience in traffic and transportation, Brett has developed strong skills in designing for pedestrians and bicycles, road safety engineering, road layout and design, GIS, traffic engineering and assessment, and project management and coordination. He’s an accredited Level 3 (senior, team leader) road safety auditor. Brett also has a strong practical background in civil engineering, which allows him to provide technical advice and project management input on a broad spectrum of projects.
Brett has extensive experience in the management of traffic and parking investigations/studies ranging in size from small sites to large corridors and precincts. He has thorough knowledge of the relevant Australian Standards, Austroads traffic management and design guidelines, as well as New South Wales policies and design standards. Brett’s project leadership demonstrates a multidisciplinary understanding and is focused on providing appropriate safety and function, while delivering value-for-money outcomes.
Outside of work, Brett can be found with a coffee in hand either at the park or beach with his young family or serving the community as a long-standing rural fire service volunteer firefighter. He enjoys outdoor pursuits, particularly boating and camping, where he has perfected the art of marshmallow roasting for his daughters.
