With a career spanning nearly 25 years, Jose has field experience that sets him apart from a typical site engineer. A former officer in the North Carolina National Guard with an engineering background, he went on to serve as a public works director for a decade. Now a senior civil engineer and licensed surveyor with our Community Development group, he brings his understanding of infrastructure maintenance to his designs.
One of Jose's notable projects was the renovation of a Royal Saudi Air Force facility to accommodate a new training campus. Through frequent communication with the client, along with effective handling contract needs and project management, he helped the project to achieve completion in the client’s desired four months with no change orders.
On weekends, you’ll find Jose spending time outdoors with his family, sharing his love of camping and fishing.
