What’s one word used to describe Sam? Driven. She first joined Stantec as a summer intern while pursuing her master of architecture at Louisiana Tech University. Her fresh ideas and “can-do” attitude show her passion for architecture. She believes that age and experience shouldn’t hold anyone back from pursuing their passion.
After graduating, Sam returned to Stantec to work with our Education group. Within 18 months, she earned her architectural license. Now, in her role as market leader, she aims to push the envelope of great educational design, engaging with our Texas Buildings leadership and Plano office leadership to maintain and build our K-12 Education presence. Her goals? To further engage our clients and cultivate happy client relationships.
By co-leading the ACE North Dallas Mentor Program and working with Stantec’s Intern Development team, Sam exercises her passion for mentorship and helps create robust and exciting internship experiences. Sam is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and serves her local Dallas chapter in many capacities: chapter board member, chair of the Architecture Matters Committee, and Young Professionals Committee member.
