With more than 30 years of experience, Dan has worked on a broad range of buildings engineering projects, from tenant fit up to electrical generation and distribution for an overseas air base. He provides technical leadership in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) investigation and design.
Dan is passionate about providing innovative, sustainable, and efficient infrastructure designs for buildings. Currently, he’s working on science and technology lab projects at several locations, as well as aviation projects at the Pittsburgh International Airport. This diverse workload presents challenges because whether a health lab or an airport public safety is involved.
When he isn’t improving building efficiency and safety, Dan spends time with his wife and five children gardening, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and canoeing. Each year, they attempt to see a new national park or civil war monument to better understand history and the splendor of nature. One such vacation started with an airboat trip in Louisiana to pet alligators then on to civil war battlefields in Missouri, digging diamonds in Arkansas, and visiting Mammoth Cave and Lincoln’s birthplace in Kentucky.
