Bringing over four decades of government and private consulting experience to his role, John serves as our climate solutions manager of resilience programs for North America. He focuses on mitigating vulnerabilities and risks associated with natural hazards magnified by climate change. Specializing in designing and implementing resilient solutions, he helps deliver organizational and community benefits across economic, environmental, and social metrics.
John assists communities to successfully position and capture funding for critical infrastructure projects that have included over $255 million of grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s national disaster resilience competition. He’s currently supporting Great Lake communities as part of a partnership with the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities initiative. This partnership helps underserved coastal communities secure funding and advance resilient projects to address real-world physical, social, and e-commerce challenges.
When he’s not helping mitigate climate change risk with resilience programs, John can be found hiking in the Appalachian Mountains.
