With 40 years of experience managing engineering companies and large infrastructure projects, Carlos is a principal of our business development group for alternative project delivery opportunities in the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean. His work has focused on infrastructure construction and construction management consulting services for public works programs ranging from $100 million to over $1 billion.
As more clients and communities embrace the benefits of alternative project delivery methods such as design-build and public-private partnerships, Carlos participates in developing business opportunities for Stantec—leveraging his knowledge of the market and his relationships in the contracting and financing communities.
A strong believer in our responsibility to help and guide others, Carlos has been an active member of the Advisory Council for Engineering at Florida International University for over a decade and of ACE Mentor Program, an organization that helps high school students pursue careers in architecture, engineering, or construction. He’s led groups of high school students from Belen Jesuit School to the Dominican Republic, building concrete bridges and aqueducts in remote communities in need.
