As a senior environmental scientist, Ankita specializes in the management of contaminated land and remediation. She has a solid foundation managing multiple environmental site assessment (ESA) projects, and a wealth of direct field experience conducting soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling. Her responsibilities include proposal and tender preparation, project management, data processing and analysis, report writing, and providing clients with technical advice.
Ankita has specialist knowledge in petroleum hydrocarbons, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), remediation, and waste classification and has a good understanding of the Environmental Protection Authority’s (EPA) regulations and guidelines. She’s particularly proud of her work managing delivery of works at two Defence/Defense sites within the PFAS Ongoing Monitoring Program. She feels a sense of accomplishment when she can successfully deliver a project, knowing she’s made a difference to the environment and community.
In addition to her work with land remediation, Ankita has many other passions including hiking, cooking, abstract painting, and taking long walks with her dog, Kylo.
