Clare grew up in a small coastal town in New South Wales, Australia, spending most of her time outdoors in nature. Now, she’s an environmental scientist who has extensive field, technical, project management, and business development experience—she has always found the contaminated land industry appealing with the goal to reduce risk and impact on human health and the environment.
Throughout her career, Clare has worked on an array of contaminated land investigations, site remediation, validation and management, and risk assessments. With this experience, she has established thorough knowledge of all levels of legislation for environmental, waste, and contaminated land management. Her most rewarding project to date? Her work on the Sydney Park landfill gas management plan.
Taking her love of nature into her downtime, Clare enjoys hiking and exploring the land in her local Illawarra region. She also enjoys exercising, playing team sports, photography and traveling.
