John has 35 years of experience working with leading architecture, engineering, and construction firms. His career began with training in William Pena’s “Problem Seeking” methodology, which grew into John’s passion and expertise in developing facility and real estate strategies for domestic and international Fortune 500 companies.
Facility and real estate strategy assignments have taken John to Japan, Europe, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He enjoys leading projects characterized by collaborative, results-driven teams that deliver innovative solutions and improvements to policies and practices. John currently serves as the account manager for the US General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service. He has also co-authored several policy publications, including Design Excellence in Leasing and Site Selection guides, building performance criteria for Federal leases, and benchmark-based space standards for US courthouses and overseas embassies.
When John is not working, he enjoys teaching his two young sons how to fish, build campfires, tie knots, and pitch tents.
