As a principal with decades of experience focusing on healthcare and higher education, Tom is driven to bring a client’s vision to life. Through clear communication and an understanding that the client’s goals come first, he’s seen as a trusted advisor by his clients and his team members.
After completing his first healthcare project—revitalizing an old hospital system over the course of three years—Tom realized his passion lies within the healthcare practice area where he could focus his efforts on helping others. Some of his notable projects include the University of Illinois (UI) Health Specialty Care Building and the conceptual plan and federal grant application for the replacement of UI Health, Mile Square.
When Tom isn’t focusing on how to better the built environment, he enjoys playing sports and indulging in culinary delights with his family.
