Based in Austin, Texas, Meghan is a senior ecologist and project manager. Over the course of her career, she’s primarily focused on the permitting and compliance of a wide variety of projects, including transmission line infrastructure, transportation, municipal improvements, and private construction.
As a principal and senior environmental scientist, Meghan specializes in complex National Environmental Policy Act documentation and has served as a technical lead for transmission projects in five states. She offers additional expertise as a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service permitted biologist and has worked with endangered species extensively in the southwest, California, and Hawaii. Having spent much of her time in nature growing up, Meghan finds that her career in environmental consulting gives her the opportunity to make an impact on the interaction between development and the natural environment.
With two toddlers, Meghan spends most of her off-work hours stepping on Legos and saving her chickens from endless toddler torment. Her family enjoys life on their hobby farm in the Texas Hill Country with 2 mini donkeys, 13 alpacas, 4 goats, 6 beehives, and a mini horse. When she had free time, she loved to travel.
