A firm believer that the design of space has a profound impact on physical and mental health, Lida draws on her extensive knowledge and the tools at her disposal to elevate design and the occupant experience. An architect by training and an interior designer in practice, she’s dedicated her career to enhancing well-being and sustainability in her projects. She was one of the first in her profession to earn certifications as a both a WELL accredited professional and faculty as well as a Fitwel Ambassador.
Lida utilizes her nearly 25 years of design and sustainability expertise to spearhead thought leadership and efforts that incorporate the best of scientific and medical research into design strategies across all her work. She has served on the global WELL Mind Concept and Health Equity Advisories and also reviewed drafts of the WELL Community and WELL version 2 standards.
Recently, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) recognized Lida under their Ones to Watch Program. She was also part of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Health Leaders Network and regularly publishes and presents on the topics of health and well-being around the world.
