Christophe calls on over 15 years of experience in the aid donor’s environment to lead our European Union (EU) and International Development division in Belgium. He combines this role with the strategic planning and management of all our climate-related services across Europe as climate solutions leader for the region. Leading the Belgium operations, he’s responsible for implementing international projects funded by the EU institutions and development banks, such as the European Commission (EC), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the World Bank, the African Development Bank (AfDB), EU bilateral donors, and a variety of governments and government agencies, to make their sustainable development goals a reality.
He’s managed and supervised large operations involving complex donor funded projects, and he’s developed and implemented comprehensive business development strategies to achieve effective and significant growth.
Over the past 10 years, Christophe has worked as project director on numerous EU programs and technical assistance services contracts within Europe as well as in developing countries and transition economies, providing him with key insights into the sustainable energy, climate change, governance, and development sectors. He holds master’s degrees in law and in international politics, and he speaks both French and English fluently.
