With nearly 25 years of mechanical engineering experience, Russell is familiar with complex and multi-faceted mechanical design and construction projects. He works with our talented team of engineers, technologists and technicians for the buildings portfolio in Manitoba and northwest Ontario.
Russell has worked on several large projects, including the Winnipeg James Armstrong International Airport Redevelopment Project for the Winnipeg Airport Authority—it features a new air terminal building, parkade, central utilities building and long-haul passenger bus terminal. He also worked on the University of Winnipeg's Richardson College for the Environment university-level science research lab, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ Investors Group Field; and most recently the expansion and upgrade of the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg. At the same time, Russell enjoys working with diverse teams and enjoys the challenges presented with all sizes of projects. His creativity coupled with his leadership skills have proven to be great assets to all the projects in which he has been involved.
Outside of the office, Russell likes to get in the kitchen and cook for family and friends. He’s also got a knack for guitar—so much so that he once considered playing professionally.
