Erik uses his mine geology experience to develop practical solutions for studies, audits, and resource evaluations. He has worked on multiple trade-offs, preliminary economic assessments, and prefeasibility and feasibility studies for deposits located in Africa, South America, and North America.
With experience in mine geology primarily applied to base metal mining, along with oil, gas, geothermal, and abandoned mine land projects, Erik is also proficient in a wide range of software applications. He is responsible for reviewing block models, resource availability, calculating deposit net smelter return value, stope design, and mine model analysis. His Nevada mining experience and computer knowledge combined with his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California, make him a valuable addition to any mining project.
In his spare time, Erik enjoys hiking and exploring small ghost towns and national parks.
