Olivia is a professional engineer experienced in a variety of civil and transportation projects. This includes her work with the design team for a large-scale design-build mass transit light rail project for the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA). Collaboration with teams and clients is her specialty—she’s proficient in communicating with all parties involved to derive the best possible solution.
Other notable design experience Olivia has includes highway and interchange reconstruction projects and a project to upgrade sidewalk curb ramps to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. She’s also been involved in construction management, working on utility relocations for a mass transit light rail project for the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART).
Away from her civil engineering work, Olivia enjoys spending time with her Hawaii ‘ohana, swimming in the ocean and soaking up the sun at the beach, going on hikes, and eating local food. She moved to Honolulu in 2023 with three suitcases and her cat, Pepper.
