Lisa focuses on sustainable transportation and draws on her rich background in governance and policy. Her work has spanned various regions including Southeast Asia and Northern Canada, where she has made significant contributions to energy planning and smart mobility.
Before her academic career as a professor and researcher, Lisa served as a smart mobility advisor for the Metropolitan Planning Organization in Buffalo, New York. She helped prepare the region for new technologies like electric and autonomous vehicles (EVs and AVs).
As a project manager, Lisa helps navigate the complexities of and advocates for consensus on sustainability issues. Her work in Vietnam and Thailand has further enriched her perspective, allowing her to bring a global outlook to local challenges.
When she isn’t helping communities find more sustainable ways to get around, Lisa is an avid hiker, traveler, and a food enthusiast. She enjoys exploring new cultures and cuisines, often planning her travels around culinary experiences.
