Sara’s passionate about building resilient and sustainable systems in evolving community settings. Whether it’s with dry ponds or outfall rehabilitation, she’s thrilled to help protect communities from severe weather events. Drawing on her experience in municipal storm water and drainage management, she contributes her skills to water resource management and infrastructure design and development.
A core member of our Edmonton Low-Impact Development (LID) team, Sara has been part of LID projects throughout the city, primarily in mature neighborhood settings. She works with storm water management and major transportation projects from concept design to conducting complex utility coordination and performing construction inspections.
Alberta is Sara's home, and she believes that it takes community and collaboration to create sustainable and innovative solutions. In her spare time, she enjoys the fiber arts—embroidery, punch needle, knitting, and sewing, to name a few. Sara also likes fencing and spending time with her partner and pets.
