As Hagen will tell you, a map only tells you “where,” GIS tells you what’s there—and what it means. An associate environmental scientist, Hagen provides GIS and water resource services for multiple sectors including municipalities, watershed organizations, and private entities.
For GIS services he specializes in web maps, mobile data collection, database management and 3D visualization, and spatial analysis. He enjoys consulting and collaborating with clients to determine the most valuable information they need. He has worked on several projects developing databases that combine critical information to empower clients to make decisions.
Hagen takes pride in empowering his clients to achieve greater sustainability, with many of his projects relating to water resources, including TMDL studies, water resource management, stormwater management, and stream stabilization/restoration. Outside of his work, Hagen enjoys hiking with his two dogs, wood working, and spending time with his wife.
