With more than five years of experience in the water resources industry, Morgan has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from flood mitigation to water supply planning for federal, state, and local clients. She began focusing on flood mitigation after experiencing her first hurricane, Hurricane Harvey, while living in Houston, which also inspired her passion of building for resiliency under climate change.
Morgan has been involved with several high-profile and challenging projects, including the ongoing base level engineering modeling for the Texas Water Development Board’s statewide flood planning effort. Her most memorable project effort was a study for the Electric Power Research Institute on “Potential Water-Related Risks Associated with Climate Change to the Electric Power Industry.”
In her spare time, Morgan enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends over good food, and adventuring with her husband and two dogs.
