Richard is a seasoned transportation professional with almost 20 years of diverse experience. This includes transportation planning and modeling, traffic engineering, and transportation design and delivery. He’s also been involved in economics, business case development, project management, and operations research. He has conducted transportation studies across Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and the Middle East. Additionally, he’s served as an acting lecturer in traffic engineering at the University of Western Australia.
Having managed many projects in design and construction, Richard thrives when involved in strategic planning and operational performance. He’s dedicated to mentoring young professionals and fosters a collaborative, innovative environment. One of Richard's most notable achievements is the Stirling Trackless Trams Business Case where his team effectively demonstrated the economic viability of a sustainable transportation solution. This project exemplifies his dedication to integrating sustainability into transportation planning.
When he’s not helping clients navigate shared transportation solutions, Richard enjoys a variety of activities including running, swimming, playing the violin, and writing poetry.
