Fahmid has over a decade of experience as a civil engineer working in the airports and aviation sector. He has managed international, regional, and domestic airport projects across Canada. Fahmid loves these varied experiences, taking lessons learned and applying them to any project he is working on to elevate the quality of his designs and managerial work. His technical experience lies in roadway, runway, apron, and taxiway design at all stages.
Fahmid has acted as project manager on numerous projects such as runway rehabilitations at Vancouver International Airport or terminal upgrades at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. More recently, he became involved in a number of projects at Moncton Airport, conducting airside planning to promote safe operations of airside activities during larger construction projects.
When he isn’t improving airport designs, Fahmid plays in soccer leagues across Toronto. On the weekends, he also enjoys managing and spending time at his café.
