Richard is a senior manager in our Taiwan office. With 10 years of experience developing integrated planning and design solutions, Richard has been a leader in tackling urban development issues in cities, urban resiliency, public space, transit-oriented design, and river restoration as well as ecological and economic systems.
As an urban and environmental construction generalist, Richard has played a major role in the creation of winning master plans for city planning and the revitalization of existing infrastructure. His work has included the Kinmen 2030 Visions Plan in Taiwan, the Foshan City Axis Gateway District Urban Design, and the Xiamen City Metro Line 1 Development. He’s completed landscape design or landscape planning and design for the Taichung Liuchuan project, the Jinji Lake Greenway Suzhou Industrial Park, and the China Pavilion Roof Garden at EXPO 2010.
Richard believes that the knowledge and inspiration gained from these experiences enable him to effectively merge the urban and natural, the traditional and modern. Through efficient, artistic, and organic implementation, we can achieve the goals of realizing creative visions for solving the problems of the living environment and creating beauty in local and global communities.
