An urban design director with a forward-thinking approach to placemaking, Luke creates responsive and engaging places that embody health and wellbeing, climate response, sustainability, and accessibility principles. He enjoys truly understanding an opportunity, the community, and place-specific nuances that help evolve a design proposal in response to the local context and contributes toward great placemaking and the delivery new homes and communities.
Luke is also a national built environment expert advisor for the Design Council, chair of the West Midlands Urban Design Forum, and a visiting lecturer in design at Coventry and Birmingham City Universities. He is currently advising the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) as part of their Pathfinder programme, using design coding to deliver high quality new homes across the country.
When not at a drawing table, you’re most likely to find Luke at the park with his family or chasing his little boy around CBeebies Land.
