Mario specializes in traffic engineering, having previously worked with the Maricopa County Department of Transportation’s Traffic Studies group. His experience on both the client and consultant sides has shown him a common goal of both organizations—coming up with solutions that make traveling safer and less stressful for the rest of the community.
This goal is something Mario shares and keeps in mind while designing signing and striping plans, traffic signal plans, roadway lighting plans, and traffic control plans. He is proficient in a variety of transportation and traffic software, including MicroStation, INROADS, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and AutoTURN.
Since joining Stantec, Mario’s learned that there’s nothing like the feeling of seeing signed and sealed plans being sent on time to the client. That satisfaction only parallels being able to kick back and watch some sports or head to his garage to work on cars.
