A senior geologist with nearly two decades of geology and geological engineering experience, Dan leads multidisciplinary site investigations and supports geologic, geotechnical, and hydrogeologic projects. He’s worked on projects across multiple resource sectors, geologic settings, and socio-political environments around the world.
Dan also routinely analyzes and interprets large, complex geologic data sets to support open pit and underground mine designs and studies, civil projects, and resource evaluations. His background as an oil sands and surficial geology modeler complements his natural ability to readily visualize and interpret 3D surfaces and structures.
With a collaborative approach, adaptive personality, and strong communication skills, Dan quickly adjusts to new and challenging project requirements. He routinely receives positive client feedback and builds trusting peer relationships.
When he isn’t busy conducting site investigations or working on projects, you might find Dan trailside with a mountain bike or hiking with his family.
