One of Julie’s strengths is maintaining quality throughout every stage of a project—especially during construction. For over 20 years, she’s worked with designers, contractors, officials, stakeholders, departments of transportation, and the Federal Highway Administration. Her job? To collaborate. To help resolve design, construction, schedule, and budget issues.
Most recently she’s been managing construction on some small projects in Virginia as well as assisting with Quality Assurance of Construction for a new bridge crossing the Ohio River in Wellsburg, WV. This new bridge project is a design-build approach and is estimated to cost $131 million with completion in 2021.
When Julie’s at work, she enjoys being part of something that creates or builds. For her, it’s about making a difference in peoples’ lives. “It’s nice to go back, years later, and see my projects being utilized by the public.” When she’s not at work, she relaxes with outdoor hikes, especially in the national and state parks and forests.
