Ignacio’s engineering roots go back to his father, who founded an engineering company in 1973. He grew up going to the office and into the field, which made it an easy decision when it came time to decide on his career. Today, Ignacio has over 30 years of business management, emergency management, construction, and engineering experience for multi-billion-dollar projects across diverse geographical and technical areas.
Focusing on flood protection and restoration engineering, Ignacio has worked in various soil conditions throughout Central America and the Gulf Coast region His most rewarding projects have been large flood protection projects including a hurricane storm damage risk reduction system in his home state of Louisiana. These types of projects make a difference in people’s lives, which aligns with his purpose of helping people.
On the weekends, you can find Ignacio camping or practicing his golf game.
