For over 30 years, Bassam has delivered engineering solutions to public and private clients in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. He has been the recipient of numerous awards of excellence and honors throughout his career, and he’s been a strong technical contributor to projects that received awards of excellence. His projects have received awards from the Professional Planners Institute, the Ontario Public Works Association, the Canadian Council for Public Private Partnerships, the Canada Green Building Council, and the Canadian Brownfields Network.
Though Bassam specializes in infrastructure planning at the block, neighborhood, network, and program levels, his expertise is quite broad and encompasses environmental planning, development of decision support systems, and economic analysis. Bassam’s success to date is attributed to his capacity to bridge the divide between policy, planning, and design.
Whenever he’s not at his desk, you’ll probably find Bassam on a mountain top hiking or on a lake kayaking.
