Mark oversees operations and budgets, improving business performance and fostering a high-performance culture. He collaborates with other leaders to identify and capitalize on opportunities, supporting our efforts in talent development, productivity, and financial performance. He maintains effective management of resources, utilization, and overhead control to drive growth in operational areas and hit key targets.
Before joining us as the business leader for our Energy and Resources groups in East Australia, Mark served as a global director of asset services where he led the introduction of a program to counter barriers to efficient work practices. This effort helped foster a culture of problem-solving and teamwork, resulting in a 15 percent improvement in productivity (normalized). By addressing challenges and streamlining processes, the program not only enhanced operational efficiency but also strengthened collaboration within the team.
When he isn’t busy leading our Energy and Resources groups or spending time with family and friends, Mark is a keen cyclist and proudly raises funds in the annual Brissie to the Bay multiple sclerosis charity event.
