As a building performance consultant and building analytics group lead, Ken uses energy analyses and studies to inform the design of new and existing high-performance building design. With his knowledge of building systems and analytics, he’s influenced efficiency in projects across sectors, including data centers, healthcare, multifamily mixed-use, and more. He’s worked on projects across the globe, from Asia and the Middle East to North America.
Ken’s active with industry organizations and presents on topics around building analytics, energy modeling, sustainable design, net-zero energy, thermal comfort, resilience, and climate adaptation. He’s presented his American Institute of Architects (AIA)-certified building analytics and integrated design process to over 30 major clients nationwide. And notably, Ken was recognized in the Consulting Specifying Engineers 2024, 40 under 40.
Away from his work analyzing building performance, when he isn’t running, golfing, or obsessing over Chicago sports, Ken loves to travel with his wife and daughter. He’s quite fond of spending time with his family at the beach.
