Michael is a seasoned mechanical engineer with over 15 years of experience in design, planning, and management for water, wastewater, mining, and industrial projects. He’s worked on the design of pump stations, sewage rising mains, water network assets, and wastewater treatment processes. He excels at uncovering complexities, collaborating with colleagues and clients, and devising innovative solutions.
Currently, Michael is partnering with Urban Utilities to analyze and model sewage gas production and emissions in Brisbane’s central business district. Involving the city’s largest sewerage system, this project aims to develop strategies to prevent or mitigate odor, significantly enhancing urban living conditions and addressing technical challenges.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Michael enjoys playing ice hockey and soccer, making music, and spending quality time with his family and their animals.
