Jonny is a senior process engineer and chartered member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) based in our Newcastle office. He works as a project technical lead and lead process engineer on energy sector projects with a focus on low carbon hydrogen production, industrial decarbonization, and energy recovery.
Jonny’s background is in the water sector, where he established himself as one of Stantec’s top UK experts in the areas of water treatment process optimization, desalination, and water reuse. He now leverages this experience to develop water supply and treatment solutions for energy sector projects.
Jonny actively seeks opportunities to work with new clients and explore new technologies to continue learning and help expand our energy business. He believes that a fresh and informed perspective is a key element of the value we offer our clients, and that this relies on having diversity of experience.
When he isn’t at his desk, Jonny is a keen runner and cyclist, always training to push the distance and beat his personal best.
