Alison, an AICP-certified planner, works with clients and stakeholders to identify their shared vision for the future. Using that vision, she creates tailored and actionable implementation strategies. Alison helps clients balance their often-competing priorities and identifies tools and techniques that will enable them to leverage their assets and implement their vision.
Her job? Preparing written materials integrated with maps, graphics, and other deliverables (that are easily understood in engagement and outreach) while also capturing the important technical nuances of complicated projects. Clear information helps a community empower themselves to make decisions and choose what’s best for their needs. Alison has worked in several Massachusetts Gateway Cities, including Brockton and Lowell, and similar communities across the country working to create new vitality and set the stage for an equitable future.
Alison serves on the Planners of Color executive committee and is vice president of the American Planning Association Massachusetts Chapter. A figure skater and skating coach, she enjoys spending her free time gardening, playing with her two giant dogs, and visiting new cities.
