Amy Flansburg

Ecologist

Photo of Amy

Amy is an ecologist and project manager who wants to tell her clients’ stories. With a background in English studies, as well as ecology, she takes pride in communicating client successes on projects preserving rare species and habitats on commercial lands, such as solar farms and utility corridors.

With a broad background in wildlife biology and environmental permitting, her experience includes independent research, experimental design, statistics, plant-insect ecology, pollinator restoration, and state and federal regulations relating to terrestrial invertebrates. Amy is passionate about the opportunities she sees to help clients address critical environmental needs, while responding to the desire from clients and regulators for authentic sustainability and stewardship.

Outside of her field work, she enjoys getting back into the outdoors on solo hikes, canoeing, or playing ice hockey. Back indoors, she loves cooking and is always on the hunt for new recipes to use with local, seasonal vegetables.
