With over 20 years of experience as a principal geochemist, Jim has had the opportunity to see long-term projects through to fruition. For example, Jim and his team helped their client complete surface reclamation of a historical exploration mine site while continuing to manage and treat water. The reclamation bond release was the first time the mine regulatory agency had released a site where active water management would continue, and it freed up almost $2 million USD for the client.
Jim is enthusiastic about working with people across industries and disciplines, and can move between myriad projects with ease thanks to his diverse work and educational backgrounds. His personal philosophy is to bring a team of our highly-qualified scientists and engineers on to projects that begin with an understanding of the environmental system that informs development of effective, efficient, and smart solutions.
An avid outdoorsman, Jim enjoys hiking, canoeing, and backcountry skiing. His favorite television show is “Master of None” and his favorite sports team is his daughter’s volleyball team.
