John’s passion for design lies in mission-driven institutions that heal and educate communities. Over the course of his career, he’s helped a wide range of projects come to life in communities across the southeastern United States: from designing a ground-up hospital providing better access to healthcare for an entire small city to engineering an iconic, five-star, hotel tower in Tampa Bay as part of the first WELL-Certified Community in the world.
Besides having a reputation as a respected engineer, John also excels at communication. He helps clients feel welcomed, understood, and well-informed. John believes that the little details matter and can make all the difference between a bad design and a quality one.
John is motivated to inspire and mentor young engineers, helping them understand how their work improves lives. In his free time, he stays outdoors as much as possible, whether golfing, running, relaxing at the beach, or going to see live music locally and across the country.
