Working on complex projects across the globe, Arash thrives on the diversity of the geotechnical industry, bringing forth his expertise to solve challenging problems. After graduating in 1995, his background in both civil and geotechnical engineering has taken him to various positions within the consulting industry and research fields. Since 2007, he’s focused his expertise in soil and rock mechanics on the mining sector.
With a personal commitment to sustainability, Arash believes in responsible development to maintain resources for the next generation, and he enjoys working on projects that contribute to improving quality of life. Within the collaborative process of teamwork, he endeavors to develop creative solutions for projects at various stages of design, operation, and closure and reclamation.
Taking his technical passion outside of office hours, Arash volunteers at geotechnical conferences and reviews papers with the Bulletin of Engineering Geology (BOEG). In his spare time, he can be found on the field coaching his daughter’s soccer team, walking his dog, and creating memories with his family.
