As a senior associate, Dan has worked for numerous communities in the Twin Cities metro area and around the United States on infrastructure planning and management.
Dan is particularly passionate about green stormwater infrastructure planning and design, and the role of surface water in creating engaging and vibrant community spaces. His work has involved both new development and the revitalization of existing developments—this includes drainage studies, street and utility design for cities, and multi-million-dollar Army Corps of Engineers flood control projects. Some of Dan’s specialties include stormwater management, hydraulics/hydrology, green infrastructure design, comprehensive planning, project management, financial management, contract negotiation, marketing, and proposal writing.
Time with his family is Dan’s number one priority. He also loves to travel, read, get involved with the community, and play basketball. Dan gets great satisfaction from mentoring younger staff in surface water management, client service, and their role in building great communities.
