Henlo is looking to the future and how mining, one of the oldest industrial activities, can play a critical role helping other sectors achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050—while at the same time becoming greener itself. A regional technology practice leader and mining subsector leader for our Industrial Water group, his responsibilities include strategic planning, business development, project execution, and revenue growth.
Critical metals sourced from mining are needed for decarbonization. Henlo believes we can mitigate environmental impacts of minerals extraction on water resources by researching, developing, and providing innovative water management and treatment strategies. Towards that goal, and no-matter the project or industry, he brings a strong ability to bring people and ideas together to build consensus. A team player—and team builder—he fosters collaboration by example and by valuing the ideas of others.
Away from work, Henlo enjoys family life with his wife and three children. Favorite activities include exploring the local mountains, parks, and lakes, enjoying the natural beauty and cultural variety of Lower Mainland British Columbia, or simply driving his kids to their weekend activities.
