Drawing on almost three decades of energy and resources experience, Jason specializes in environmental impact assessments, permitting, and regulatory affairs. Over his career, he’s managed a wide variety of projects through all phases of energy development across the globe. He has also been involved in regulatory policy development and reform for a variety of sectors and geographies.
As vice president and sector leader with Stantec’s Environmental Services team, Jason knows conditions can change regularly with large-scale projects and that we need to adapt quickly. It’s what he’s good at—working on projects for oil sands mines or in-situ developments, carbon capture and storage (CCS), power generation facilities, pipelines, liquid natural gas (LNG) facilities, well sites, and gas plants.
Jason enjoys the diversity of projects he works on as well as the dynamic and fast-moving environment the people and culture he experiences at work. When he isn’t leading our Environmental Services team, you might find Jason in the mountains downhill skiing or camping. He also enjoys cross-country skiing and hockey, and he’s coached his son’s hockey teams many years.
