Evie has always been passionate about the environment. She grew up right next to the beach and enjoyed studying geography in high school. Her love for the land led to her university studies in environmental science and chemistry, which put her on the pathway to find something right in the middle of one of her favorite subjects—contaminated land.
With every project, Evie has learned as an environmental scientist that it’s important for infrastructure projects to be completed in a way that doesn’t impact harshly and unnecessarily on the environment. Through her work, she hopes to reduce the human impact on construction sites and collaborate with clients to help establish sustainable solutions that play a big part in the outcome.
When Evie’s not working on reducing the environmental impact of infrastructure projects, she enjoys spending time at the beach or going for a bush walk—precious pastimes that help keep her grounded and appreciative of the nature that surrounds her community.
