Pietro is not your typical subject matter expert. He has a diverse background that includes engineering, sales, strategy development, contract negotiations, financing, and business to business (B2B) marketing with producers, consulting, and technology firms globally. He’s published articles on hydrogen use and optimization in refineries and presented at over 35 conferences. Having worked in the downstream refining and industrial gases industries for most of his career, Pietro’s skills and knowledge enhance Stantec’s traditional oil and gas capabilities.
The energy market is shifting, and Alberta’s resilient and entrepreneurial approach means new energies are emerging. Pietro is at the forefront of this transition with his expertise in hydrogen and petrochemicals like methanol. He’s helping our clients navigate these changes by sharing his 35 years of expertise. Recently, he led a Stantec team to support development of financing options for a technology company’s blue hydrogen production process.
Where will you find Pietro outside of the office? He’s probably trying to find a new vantage point to photograph Calgary’s skyline or enjoying his LP music collection.
