As a world traveler, Tanuja brings a deep appreciation of how spaces influence people’s lives to her role as an urban designer. She’s visited 20 countries (so far), which has given her a unique perspective into how cities function and evolve. She incorporates these impressions in her designs, using graphic information system and motion graphics tools to enhance visual storytelling and analyze spatial data for planning and urban design projects.
Tanuja works with multidisciplinary teams across the US and internationally to create diverse range of projects that shape urban environments at various scales. These projects include streetscape and site design, planting and small-area plans, master plan developments, waterfront development, urban communities, and city-wide planning.
In addition to travel, Tanuja enjoys learning to cook different cuisines, hiking, photography, painting, and a new venture into designing board games.
