Michelle has over 15 years of experience as an environmental management specialist within the government, mining, and infrastructure sectors. Her current role involves undertaking environmental audits and assisting clients with the preparation and submission of environmental impact assessments, permit applications, and regulatory approvals.
Some of Michelle’s efforts have included undertaking environmental approvals for major powerlines, managing a range of strategic improvement programs, contractor management, and leading an approvals team. An experience Michelle takes particular pride in occurred during her secondment to a mining company. In her three months there, she gained valuable experience on a range of mining projects and approvals.
With a keen Interest and experience in fauna protection, Michelle runs a not-for-profit organization designed to help educate others about how to support biodiversity in suburban areas. When she isn’t busy with environmental projects or educating others, you’ll find her outdoors in her native garden.
