Trent finds working in the water industry to be very fulfilling, especially when he’s involved with a project that provides clean drinking water to his own community. He’s drawn to projects that provide environmental benefits and help increase resiliency.
As a civil engineer in training with our Tampa Water group, Trent works with the civil team, focusing on the design of earthwork, construction planning, utilities design, and general team coordination. One of his recent projects involved replacing two pump stations in Miami-Dade County. He particularly enjoyed working on this because the pump stations are part of a larger plan that will supply additional water to the Everglades, specifically improving bird habitat in the area.
When he isn’t busy working on water projects, Trent enjoys spending time with his wife and pet poodle by going on hikes and exploring the Florida outdoors. He’s also always looking forward to eating at a new restaurant or visiting a new museum.
