Joey is an electrical engineer licensed in Ontario, British Columbia, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. He is known for his instrumentation and controls work for the City of Ottawa Wastewater and Water divisions and enjoys listening to his clients’ needs to be able to bring them the best solutions.
Armed with his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Joey is currently acting as a lead designer or engineer of record for various clients. He is familiar with fuel controls, lighting design, and electrical building design, which he delivers for clients in the public sector. A notable project of Joey’s was the Canadian Museum of History’s lighting system retrofit—as the lead electrical designer, he helped deliver an electrical lighting system that can accommodate future LED retrofit projects or upgrades. Joey has been with Stantec since he was a co-op student and now teaches part time at Algonquin College.
Outside of work, Joey enjoys relaxing with his wife by the fire or the pool—which isn’t always easy, given they have two sons under two years old.
