As a professional engineer specializing in resilience planning, Danielle assists clients in understanding the risks natural hazards can pose to their communities. Bringing a unique perspective to her work, she bridges the gap between planning and implementable projects by setting up systems for projects—whether that’s developing tools or programs to streamline analysis processes, creating workflows, or establishing analysis methodologies. Notably, she leads the development and implementation of our vulnerability assessment program.
Committed to improving the world around her, Danielle moved into planning because she enjoys helping communities identify and develop projects from the beginning of a project’s lifecycle. With her resilience planning work, she can combine two of her passions—helping people and helping the environment. She enjoys developing nature-based solutions that can serve as a public amenity while mitigating flood risks and capturing carbon.
Away from her planning work, Danielle and her husband enjoy staying active with hiking, rock climbing, swimming, and biking. They also like playing pickleball and volleyball.
