With more than 30 years of experience, Brian has worked on a variety of projects and had a number of notable achievements in his career. On one such effort, he served as the architect of record on the first Green House certified skilled nursing facility in California, a prototype that was the impetus for including the small home model in the California Building Code.
Brian has dedicated nearly half of his career to health care, finding great reward in providing healthy, healing environments for patients, their families, and employees. He advocates for collaboration and open communication with the clients, contractors, state and local agencies, and the design team to achieve desired results. As a principal with our Buildings group, he’s responsible for growing our health care practice in Los Angeles and providing hands-on mentoring to the health care team.
Away from work, Brian enjoys participating with two local running clubs in various races, hiking, photography, and archery. He also loves spending time with his wife, their two daughters, and Finn, their chihuahua/mini pincer mix.
