As a terrestrial biologist, Loni has over 24 years of experience in the environmental field. She has extensive experience serving as principal-in-change and leads multidisciplinary teams on transmission projects and programs for both private sector independently operated utilities (IOUs) and federal power administration clients. For the last three years, she’s functioned as the environmental services account manager for one of our largest IOU clients in California.
Loni’s role on transmission projects has ranged from leading initial siting biological studies and leading environmental sections for environmental assessments to project management of large volume wildfire mitigation electric transmission programs. She also manages National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) support tasks for weather station installations on U.S. Forest Service lands and, as a project manager, excels at setting up large-volume, fast-paced, due-diligence wildlife mitigation programs.
When she’s not managing projects, Loni is an avid science fiction reader. She also maintains a curated insect collection and enjoys yoga practice and traveling—sometimes this includes traveling to yoga retreats!
